It has been a wonderful holiday. I am so very thankful for our freedom. It touches my heart when so many people post postive comments about our country, those that have died for our freedom. And those serving our country now. I wish more people would get behind our country and buy American. America is a great place to live. I have no desire to move anywhere else. I don't even wish to visit another country. I know there are some beautiful things & places in other countries. But America is packed with it's own history and beauty.

And on a lighter side, Mason got to spend another night with us. I am taking him to school tomorrow. So, I will have an early day. But, he is worth it. We have enjoyed every minute of our day today with him. I think he must have missed us too. He is still in his extra special affectionate mood. I love this life. Thank you Lord for making it possible.

Well, I finally have my little guy. It has been 9 days since he got to spend the night. To some that may not seem like a long time, but to us it is. We are fortunate enough that he only lives about 2 miles from us. So, he gets to spend every Friday night with us. Sometimes he lays over until Sunday. His Mom is a 2nd grade teacher so he meets her on the bus loop after school. But on Fridays I pick him up after school so he gets to be a car rider. Most Fridays there is a surprise laying between the seats when he get in the car. This week he got The Play Doh Barbecue Set. So tonight we are in the floor making play doh food. Life in good in Mason Land.

Happy Sunday

I appreciate all of the soldiers. The past and the present. I appreciate the freedom that we have in America. My father-in-law served in WWII, and my daddy served in the Korean Conflict. My husband Tony, served during Vietnam. I have a nephew that has been in Iraq. Happy Memorial Day to everyone.
